As a Catering Assistant you will be part of a team who ensure the preparation and delivery of a food and beverage service to patients.The Catering Assistant will be responsible for the service of all food and drink to the patients on the wards including managing dietary requirements. Additional tasks will consist of the washing of cutlery & dishes, replenishing our hot drinks machinesand explaining the daily menus across all meals.You will be part of a team of Catering Assistants who are fundamental in ensuring that all work is carried out in a hygienic and methodical manner and that standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital are in line with our policies.What youll bring with you:

  • Ideally you will have Catering Assistant experience, but training will be given.
  • Previous experience of a customer facing role
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work on your own as well as in a team.
  • Must have a positive and flexible approach
  • Strong communication skills
