Job Description

Role Purpose:To oversee end-to-end finance operations. Financial planning and analysis. Making improvements to processes and procedures to streamline the company.Key Responsibility Areas

  • Assist with the preparation and production of monthly accounts using Sage cloud.
  • Prepare pre-payments and post-monthly accruals and similar accounting entries.
  • Manage currency positions.
  • Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts, balance sheets and P&L accounts.
  • Responsible for loading costing information required in our reservation system.
  • Check supplier invoices prior to processing and ensure all costs are entered into our reservation system.
  • Load and pay supplier invoices via sage cloud.
  • Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to the Directors.
  • Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage expectations throughout the year.
  • Act as a point of contact for any financial external audits.
  • Participate in strategic data analysis, research and re-modelling for company expansion.
  • Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceEssential:
  • 4+ years’ experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
  • Educated to degree level and a minimum of AAT level 4.
  • Sage Cloud experience.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with Directors and External Accountants.
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel and word.
