Job Description

SEND Catering Teacher - ASAP until July - Full Time We are currently supporting a client in Manchester who are looking for a Catering Teacher to support their students aged 16-24 with SEND. The needs of the students at this college are varied and include: ASC, PMLD, Medical Needs, Complex Needs and SEMH. There is also an element of personal care required and due to this all candidates MUST have a CHILD AND ADULT WORKFORCE DBS or be willing to apply for one. As a Catering Teacher you will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and delivery of sessions in accordance with the curriculum and assessment of students’ progress. This role is full time 5 days a week, Monday to Friday and requires someone with dedication, commitment and passion.If you meet the above criteria and are interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch with us.   • Have experience working with children and young people who have PMLD / SLD
  • Be sensitive to the needs and backgrounds of some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people
  • Have passion and interest in gaining experience in the SEND sector
  • Be available immediately for long term full time work
  • Have a CHILD AND ADULT DBS on the online update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references to cover the last 2 years employment history
  • Hold relevant training or qualifications related to working in schools / SEND provisions
