The Executive Network Groups are exclusively working with a leading SME in medical devices in their search for a Technical Manager.PackageSalary:£60,000 - £70,000Location: East MidlandsJob Purpose: To provide Technical support to our clients customers, suppliers and Regulatory BodiesTo ensure that products comply with relevant legislation such as GDP, ISO 13485 and BRC requirements.To ensure that our client can fulfil its obligation as legal manufacture of medical devices and MAH holder for licenced medicines.Key Responsibilities To provide support to the Head of Compliance Provide support and guidance to the wider technical and regulatory department Completion and accuracy of customers technical databases, through new product set up and on-going maintenance Point of initial technical contact with customers and suppliers, including raising issues when required to Head of Compliance Management of product registrations in line with sales demand utilising external and internal support where required Supporting the Pharmacovigilance system, ensuring business compliance, supporting external consultants where required Management of product technical compliance through MHRA Approvals, Notified Body Approvals, etc. Providing technical support to external medical device consultants Ensuring technical agreement compliance across the business Completion of customer and supplier technical paperwork Ensuring complaints are communicated to in a timely manner Management of UK REP activitiesSkillset Good communication skills Background in Medical Devices Technical experience within a regulated environment Understanding of regulations supporting healthcare product development, ie GMP, GDP, Medical Device ISO 13485 Demonstrate attention to detail at all times Ability to evaluate information and draw conclusions based on facts.Desirable Interest in learning and progressing your career Direct contact with notified bodies Experience in the eye industry
