Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer - NorthwichOur clients carry out Brownfield and Greenfield geo environmental assessments for commercial and residential developers throughout the UK. Due to expansion the company require senior Geo-environmental Engineer /Geologists, for offices in Cheshire and Bromsgrove in the South Midlands.This is a great opportunity to join an expanding business and the right person could eventually be rewarded with a wide range of responsibilities right across the business. The business offers a nine-day working fortnight and a flexible working approach within a friendly working atmosphere, with the distinct possibility of further career advancement for the right candidate.JOB ROLEAs a minimum the right candidate should be experienced in:Factual and interpretative report writingProject managementClient liaisonCarrying out desk top studiesSite investigationsScheduling chemical and geotechnical laboratory analysisContaminated land assessmentSupervision of site investigationsGeotechnical investigationsRisk assessmentsRegulatory liaisonGround gas and groundwater assessmentsFoundation designChecking of reports and project management as well as many other areas of work.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE5-8 Years experience in the geo-environmental industry.Be able to work as part of a close-knit team.The right candidate should have a Geo-environmental, geotechnical or geology-based degree, and must be keen to develop a managerial role within the business.
