Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We have a new exciting role for a Senior Support Worker to join our team in Northenden, Greater Manchester.We are looking for a motivated, resourceful and experienced individual to work at our mental health supported living service in Northenden, Greater Manchester. We provide an empowering model of support to individuals with mental health support needs, enabling them to lead fulfilling and happy lives. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be involved in the running of a vibrant homely service, which is home to five male service users with varying support needs. No two days will be the same as our service users love to engage in a range of exciting activities such as movie nights, gardening, walking, board games and many more!Your role will include:– Providing respectful personal care, administering medication and supporting residents with daily domestic tasks such as cooking/cleaning,– Maximise service user outcomes by working closely with the service user, their family and friends, staff and involved professionals,– Developing and managing staff, including staff training, supervision and appraisal,– Supporting managers with business planning and service developments,– Supporting managers Quality Assurance and CQC complianceA minimum of two years’ experience of providing care and support to people with mental health needs and a level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential. You should have experience of supporting and supervising a staff team. You must be willing to work flexibly on a rota according to the needs of the service including sleep-ins.This friendly service is based just off Princess Parkway. It has great public transport links as we are close to the motorway and to the 101 and 43 bus route from Manchester.
