Job Description

A Warehouse Supervisor is required on a permanent basis for our well-established client in logistics services industry:• Permanent, Full-time Job, 40h/week• Location: Kingsbury, North-West London, NW9• Working hours: 8 a.m. – 4.00p.m. weekdays (and occasionallyweekend days)• Payment: £24,000 – 28,000 / annual salary (depends on skills and experience)Person specifications:

  • You must be ok with getting your hands dirty, overlooking a team and not have a problem with directing people on which tasks you would like them to do.
  • The right candidate will have experience of training, organising, and checking work, building a strong team who are happy to take direction and work together.
  • Having a “can do” attitude is a must as you will find yourself problem solving and finding solutions.
  • You must have a strong command of the English language and basic computer literacy skills.
  • Would be extremely beneficial if you have a forklift certificate of competence.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:• Warehouse organisation of stock, loading, unloading of drivers, supplier deliveries• Stock ordering, replenishing, and receiving / monitoring deliveries to warehouse.• Recruiting team members• Scheduling & Training staff• Liaising with suppliers to ensure stock availability and delivery is made on time.• Health and safety checks and organising any maintenance needed such as replacement of lightbulbs etc• Ensuring working areas are clean, tidy and ready to work inBenefits:
