Position: Python Automation Test Engineer for a wireless embedded software systemRate: up to £55 per hour, outside IR35Location of office: North West London. Excellent transport links via car and public transportLocation of work: 3 days a week onsiteContract length: 3 months initiallyThe Role: An embedded systems business requires a Python Test Automation Engineer for an initial 3 month contract which is highly likely to extend. At present the business has a basic Python test framework in place. Your role will be to enhance this Python test frameworkso a fully automated test solution is in place to test their wireless sensor based system.At present the wireless sensor network is developed in embedded c. This wireless sensor network has a node connected to a Linux pc via a usb connection. This linux module is written in C++ and collects all the wireless sensor data.To be suitable for this role you should have developed Python automated tests for embedded software systems, which have ideally used wireless communications e.g. Bluetooth, BLE, LoRa, GSM, Zigbee.
