Are you looking for a rewarding career in legal finance If you are an experienced legal cashier and have a thorough knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Legal Aid Agency regulations, you might be the perfect fit for the team. My client area well-established law firm based in North West London, offering a wide range of legal services to our clients. They are seeking a full-time Senior Legal Cashier to join their Accounts department and handle various tasks such as:- Processing client payments and receipts, including online payments and dealing with residential and commercial completions- Posting incoming client funds and carrying out Bacs/Chaps/same day Bacs/inter account transfers via Barclays- Processing domestic and international electronic payments- Assisting with monthly payroll processing- Dealing with queries from fee earners and support staff- Understanding and applying the CCMS reporting and billing system- Processing LAA remittance advice and CWA reporting (Legal Help Fixed Fee submission)- Following the LAA Costs Assessment Guidance and the Civil Procedures Rules – Civil Legal Aid (Renumeration) Regulations 2013- Operating Designated Deposits- Ensuring compliance with both the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the firms internal rulesTo succeed in this role, you will need:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a team and with a client service focus- Proficiency in various IT applications, including Outlook, Excel, online banking and practice management software- Experience with Partner for Windows case management system preferred but not essential- Previous legal cashier experienceThis role will offer a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and remote working arrangement.BenefitsHealth insurancePensions schemePerformance bonusIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply.
