Job Description

French and Spanish TeacherBarnetASAPProspero Teaching is looking for an French and Spanish Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Barnet starting ASAP.ABOUT THE SCHOOL

  • The school is a same sex middle sized school situated in the heart of Barnet
  • The school are looking to appoint an excellent French and Spanish Teacher who would like to work with and contribute to the development of highly motivated students.
  • Someone who can teach French and Spanish
  • The areas of study are broad and cover drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, installation and mixed media.
FRENCH AND SPANISH TEACHER CONTRACT DETAILS:Location BarnetPosition French and Spanish TeacherType of work Teaching French and Spanish to KS3-KS4Contract or position date ASAPDuration / Likely Duration 1 academic year or moreContract or position end date (if applicable) ASAP until July 2023Minimum rate £185 per day MINIMUMHours 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents eveningsEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ed / PGCE / QTS or equivalent teaching degree
  • Minimum 1 - year French and Spanish teaching experience in the UK
  • Passionate about being an French and Spanish Teacher and have a willingness to educate
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS FRENCH AND SPANISH TEACHING ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Be able to work a minimum of 5 FULL days Monday - Friday
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
