Job Description

Reedis seeking an experienced Finance Manager on behalf of a well-established manufacturer in Northwest London.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate financial information to support decision-making, ensuring that financialrecords are accurate, and ensuring that financial procedures and policies are followed.Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain accurate product costings.
  • Perform month-end activities under tight reporting deadlines - proactively identify process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy of reporting.
  • Overview all production inputs and outputs of the MRP software (Navision / Business Central) so that the data for accounting fromproduction is accurate and timely.
  • Ensure all stock values are correct and justifiable; this includes finished goods, WIP and components.
  • Review of stock with a focus to drive down work in progress stock.
  • Regularly review factory performance and apply thorough business understanding to identify, understand and explain variances to expectations.
  • Produce and distribute KIP reports to manufacturing teams.
  • Assist in the completion of the external audit work and internal delivery requests, producing informative analysis when required.
  • Develop strong working relationships with group stakeholders and a thorough understanding of group reporting requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider finance team to support completion of key deliverables eg. budget and re-forecast process.
  • To support in promoting ongoing process improvement and cultural change.
Person Specification
  • Qualified accountant from any major body (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) - will consider QBE with significant Manufacturing exposure within a Management Accountant role.
  • Experience of preparing management and production accounts in an evolving business with experience of stock. accounting and related processes in a manufacturing business.
  • Experience of an SME as part of a larger reporting group.
  • Strong organisational skills - able to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail, high professional standards and personal integrity.
  • Strong communication skills - able to communicate effectively across the business.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel, and Microsoft Navision experience desirable.
