Job Description

Accounts Payable Clerk - North West LondonSalary: Basic £28,000 - £30,000 dependant on experienceWorking Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pmTheo Jones Recruitment are currently seeking to recruit a Motor Trade Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client based in North West LondonExperience in a Accounts position within the automotive industry is preferable.As part of our clients accounts team you will be responsible for:

  • Pass all invoices for vehicles
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Input & analyse fuel receipts onto spreadsheet
  • Bank posting
  • Deal with all account payables queries
  • Reconcile creditors statements on ledger accounts
  • Arrange account payables payment by BACS & Cheques
  • Check all delivery notes ensuring they are signed, and goods properly receipted
  • Daily printout of all purchase invoices, remittance & Statement
  • Register & scan all invoices into department and analyse all invoices daily
  • Match invoices with related delivery notes
  • Post all payments from bank statement
  • Distribute the invoices to relevant authorities for further verifications
  • File all the purchase ledger invoices, statement & agreement daily
  • Deal and refer to relevant authorities of all traffic PCNs contraventions as of when required.
  • Deal with all petty cash transactions daily
  • Deal with any road fund licence transactions
  • Reconcile credit cards statements
The ideal candidate will be:
  • Possess a calm and even temperament
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues across all departments
  • To work accurately and efficiently to meet targets and deadlines
  • Good Excel and IT skills
