Role: Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum + overtime (paid at x1.5 & x2.0) and benefits Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotation between days and nights, 7 till 7Location: Commutable from Hull, York, Leeds, Doncaster, Brayton, Beverley and surrounding areas CompanyA heavy plant manufacturing company who offer challenging and rewarding careers to Engineers are looking for an individual who wants to be part of an established, loyal and successful team.If youre after a role where you can get your hands dirty, be challenged as well as supported, this role is for you. ResponsibilitiesWorking 12 hour shifts covering days and nights, you will work within a team of Engineers on shift and reporting into the Engineering Supervisor and Engineering Manager.Your role will include: Supportive various equipment and machinery, including crushing, extruders, robotics, packaging, conveyors, mixers, driers machinery.30% of your work is planned preventative, project and continuous improvement work. 70% is reactive, attending to and resolving breakdowns.Dealing with belts, bearings, motors, gears, pumps, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.Any workshop skills will come in handy, ideally welding and/or fabricatingHelp support continuous improvements to machinery, planned shutdownsRequirementsCompleted a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications Experience with mechanical fitting work, within an industrial and/or manufacturing environmentMachinery maintenance experienceAny experience of belts, chains, bearings, pumps, motors, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining, welding or fabrication would be desirableHeavy plant/machinery experience would be great but not essential Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck inFriendly and adaptable working attitude If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Wesley at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
