Job Description

Warehouse Operative neededSureStaffing UK Ltd are looking to recruit warehouse operatives Temp to Perm, for our client based in Normanton (West Yorkshire).Permanent role will be offered to right candidates after 10 weeks.Training for LLOP will be provided by a company as part of your induction process.Responsibilities and Duties of a Warehouse OperativeWith our clients nature of business retail, stock replenishment deliveries need to be picked and delivered in a timely manner. Therefore, our candidates must possess the correct attributes and experience for the role,

  • Working in a fast-paced warehouse
  • Order picking on a LLOP using hand-held scanner
  • Ability to work under pressure in a timely manor
  • Previous experience is the warehouse setting
  • other warehouse duties i.e., Cleaning, cardboard picking from the isles etc
  • adhering to Health and Safety rules
Working Hours for a Warehouse Operative role
  • Shifts are worked out to be working 4 days/week (Monday- Saturday), 36 hour weeks.
  • Must be able to work 2 in 3 Saturdays. 1 Saturday is on days 6am-4pm; second Saturday is 9am-7pm
Shift times for a Warehouse Operative are:
  • Days - 06:00am - 16:00pm
  • Afternoons 12:00pm - 22:00pm
  • Shifts rotate on 3-week period.
  • Week 1- Monday to Thursday- 6am-4pm
  • Week 2- Wednesday to Saturday- 12noon- 10pm
  • Week 3- Monday, Tuesday 12noon- 10pm; Friday, Saturday 6am-4pm
Pay Rates for a Warehouse Operative:
  • £11.37
  • Overtime After 36 hours (you will need to get up to speed before being booked for OT)
  • Monday to Saturday after 36 hours OT - £17.06
  • Sunday OT - £22.74
