Job Description

Our public sector client is seeking a full time temporary agency worker to assist their current team based at Normanton WF6.Targeted Debt recovery - This job is phone and admin based. Must be comfortable on the phones chasing outstanding debt and having difficult conversations with service users/family members/ power of attorneys regarding arrears relating to home/residential/respitecare received where full payment not met by the Council.Undertake accurate associated debt recovery (inc raising invoices, banking of cheques, taking card payments over the phone. Adhere to government legislation and policies.Reviewing service users accounts, sending out first letters advising of any arrears and requesting payment/contact. Setting up payment plans. Chasing outstanding arrears by phone and postal letter.Need a keen eye for detail, great keyboard skills with accuracy and a confident telephone manner.Must be numerate, hence looking for someone used to previously having Accounts background or similar.Mon - Thur 8.30am - 5pm, Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm£13.69ph - weekly pay via agencyInitial contract confirmed until 31/07/2024Required skills
