Are you passionate about working with childrenJoin our team at Career Teachers and work as a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) teaching assistant at our partnership schools in Wakefield. Starting as soon as possible, youll work alongside passionate and experienced educators, engagingwith pupils and shaping the next generation.Our partnership schools in Wakefield care for and nurture pupils with moderate learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, SEMH, ADHD, PMLD, hearing impairment and visual impairment. We work with schools in both Primary and Secondary settings, sothe childrens age ranges from 3-18 years old.We are recruiting teaching assistants who are experienced with SEND environments and have nurturing personalities. Familiarity with the national Key Stage Curriculum, an understanding of child development and learning, excellent communication skills, adaptability,empathy, and dedication to promoting equal opportunities are the key qualities we look for in our teaching assistants.Responsibilities of the role include:
