Job Description

Brilliant are recruiting for a National Account Manager for the market leader in mobile ECO welfare and lighting, with the largest and most modern fleet in the UK. Following significant investment, the business is continuing to expand and is currently recruitingfor a National Account Manager to join the sales team and support further growth and development with key strategic accounts. This role will suit an experienced, ambitious, dynamic salesperson capable of developing new business opportunities and optimizingexisting accounts in line with strategic objectives. This is a customer facing, field-based role targeted on developing and maintaining a base of key strategic accounts, as well as new business development from targeted prospects.You will identify new business and develop relationships with target customers to maximise all opportunities with the portfolio of Welfare Hire Nationwide. You will have the ability to understand the clients needs and be able to grow sales through promotingWHNs innovative, value-added proposition. WHAT WERE LOOKING FORWe are looking for an experienced target-driven sales hunter with account management and sales leadership capabilities. You must have a proven track record in key account management and new business development. You will have the ability to build credible,lasting relationships to ensure long-term, sustainable strategic growth. As a team player, you will be comfortable with managing and organising sales activity and support with colleagues, including regional sales teams. You must be an excellent and confidentcommunicator with the ability to sell value-added, differentiated products.Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales in line with budget requirements and the strategic plan
  • Develop national accounts to optimise sales and supplier position with a focus on long-term sustainable growth
  • Develop new business with targeted prospects in key strategic sectors
  • Broaden Welfare Hires presence and reach in key strategic sectors and accounts across multiple stakeholders and platforms
  • Manage Regional Sales Managers and work with wider sales and marketing team to convert opportunities and develop key account relationships at all levels
  • Prepare and deliver account development plans to maximise profitable revenue growth and strengthen position as long-term strategic supply partner
  • Promote the Kelling Group brand and core values to maintain market-leading image
  • Develop strong network of key stakeholders within key accounts and sectors
  • Any other tasks commensurate with this post
THE IDEAL CANDIDATERequirements:
  • 5 years+ senior account management experience required; industry or affiliated industry experience
  • Excellent track record in sales growth via account management and new business development
  • Strong sales capabilities and a proven track record in new business development
  • Highly organised self-starter
  • Results-orientated with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Ability to work dynamically and nurture relationships across multiple stakeholders to grow, maintain and leverage your network
  • Ability to identify potential opportunities and the appropriate decision makers
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but able to recognise and support the preferences and priorities of the organisation
  • Team player able to work closely with colleagues at all levels and build rapport with internal and external customers
  • Ability to demonstrate effective negotiation skills to ensure business is won on viable commercial terms
  • Plan approaches and pitches to develop proposals that speaks to the clients needs, concerns and objectives
  • Excellent IT literacy for production of presentation, sales analysis and management reports
  • Focused and persistent with a will to win
