Job Description

Elevation have the pleasure of working with a bespoke manufacturing company based in the Normanton, West Yorkshire area with are looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team with immediate effect!Salary: £42,600Location: Normanton, West YorkshireHours: 3 shifts rotating- Monday to FridayA few of the many benefits:

Duties of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:
  • Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance
  • Working with PLC’s on a daily basis
  • Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed
  • Dealing with any mechanical or electrical issues that may occur within maintenance
  • Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Working to a continuous improvement plan to make yourself and the business the best they can be at all times
  • Fabricating
  • Working on lathes and milling machines
  • Working to an on call scheme every 3rd weekend
Desired experience:
  • You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
  • It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
  • Ideally have 3 years experience within in a multi-skilled maintenance position recently
  • Must be happy working the 3 shift pattern
  • Ideally have experience of working in an FMCG/ fast paced environment previously
  • Must ideally have 17th/ 18th edition to be considered for this role
  • Must have experience with PLC fault finding experience
  • Happy to take part in the on call scheme
  • Ideally have experience with fabrication, lathes and milling machines
  • Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
