Reed Accountancy are representing a company within the ServiceIndustryfor the role of Management Accountant based in Normanton.The company have a great opportunity for a candidate who likes a varied position to assist with Group Finance Manager with thecarrying out and assisting offinancial duties including collecting all relevant information, answering queries, sending documentation to HMRC, Prepayments, Accruals, Project Costings, Sales Ledger and Month End Report Preparation.This is a permanent position, paying up to £35,000 on a full time basis!Duties of the role include:• Weekly Revenue Flash Reporting to Corporate• Process 1st stage same day payments and BACS payments into HSBC• Invoice finance experience a plus (not essential)• Cashflow daily updates cover + process improvements• Profit and Loss monthly review with commentary• Sales Admin + Credit Control support/cover. E.g. prepare client costings invoices, chase quotations up from salesman, and chase cash.• Accruals & Prepayments / GRNI Accruals, Payroll, general journals creation and posting.• Reconcile Bank & Invoice Finance Accounts.• Maintain, Process and Reconcile Fixed Asset Register• VAT Returns / EC Sales Lists preparation and submission.• Government Statistics submissions• Ownership of Month end deadlines.Other Duties• Petty Cash Recs.• Payroll Cover + Journal postings (Sage 50)• Help Sales administrator prepare client invoices.• Help Credit Controller chase cash• Develop current processes to make lean.• Assisting with Audit / Tax queries preliminary feedback.• Improve Exactsystem by learning new modules.Knowledge, training and experience required• AAT Qualification minimum• Strong Excel - VLOOKUP, pivot tables a must.• High standard of Math and English.• Experience of working to deadlines for multiple projects or people.
