Job Description

The Company:Brewster Partners are currently working with a client based in Normanton who are looking to add a Purchase Ledger to their current finance team.The position is an excellent opportunity for someone who has prior experience in a similar background, who is looking to apply their current skillset in a new environment.The Job:Key Responsibilities include:

  • Entering and matching purchase invoices against purchase orders
  • Handling all relevant queries from suppliers via phone and email
  • Communicating with the purchasing team, ensuring purchase values can be correctly invoiced
  • Supporting month end processes such as reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Being involved in year end activities, working with the support team and assistant with audits
The Candidate:
  • Previous purchase ledger experience to a similar degree is required
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Being able to work as part of a team, assisting where needed in other areas
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
