Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be partnering with a leading manufacturing Company who are seeking a confident and knowledgeable Credit Controller to join their team in Normanton; initially on a temporary basis to support the team duringa busy period. This is a newly created role so you will be taking full ownership for a stand-alone Credit Control position where you will be responsible for chasing the aged debt, invoices and payments for their customers. They are looking for someone who has strong creditcontrol experience and has a strong eye for detail and can get on working alone or within a team! Duties & Responsibilities Include: * Updating and maintaining accurate financial records on the sales ledger* Reporting to senior management on days outstanding, over credit limit and payment history* Assist with posting and allocating of BACS receipts and cheques onto the system* Investigative work reconciling outstanding debit notes on the sales ledger* Contacting customers via phone and email for outstanding invoices and debit notes* Responsible for various weekly and monthly reports* Credit checks on new and existing customer accounts, ongoing maintenance of credit terms and limits* Actively involved in the implementation of a new ERP system and installing the financial dutiesSkills & Experience Required: * Completed or working towards AAT qualification* Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to an extremely high standard* Ability to communicate within all levels of the organisation* Excellent attention to detail* Ability to work on own or part of a team and to strict deadlines* Previous experience working in a credit control role* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel & Outlook* Experience using Pegasus Opera or Epicor would be advantageousIf this sounds like an opportunity you are interested in and you believe you possess the necessary skills and experience in order to be successful; please click apply and get in touch today!
