Job description: Are you an Asset Care Lead, Multi Skilled Engineering Team Leader or Engineering Team Manager with experience of working in a manufacturing environment and able to deliver the site maintenance plan As Asset Care Lead, your working patternwill consist of a 42-hour week (days only), Week 1 Sunday to Wednesday, Week 2 Monday to Thursday. Essential Ingredients Experienced in both electrical and mechanical maintenance Some experience of people management Knowledge and experience of maintenance in an FMCG or manufacturing environment would be preferable.H&S/Food Safety systems & legislation knowledge e.g., IOSH able to ensure a safe working environment. Structured and practical engineering training (e.g., apprenticeship/HNC/degree or equivalent). IT knowledge able to use widespread functions within relevantsoftware inc. Microsoft Office, and preferably SAP Communication skills articulate/develops effective, long-term relationships with key people. We are proud to be leading and developing a collaborative,creative and responsive team at the cutting edge of engineering innovation. As Asset Care Lead youll support a team of 6 day-based Engineers. Your role will be approx. 70% hands on performing both mechanical and electrical planned & reactive maintenance. Youllcollaborate with the group Engineering Manager and Manufacturing excellence Project Manager to ensure the team are working towards achieving the Asset Care Strategy. The Role As part of the Engineering management team, youll be encouraged and supported tofoster new ideas and perspectives whilst driving change at pace. We promote a culture of continuous improvement whilst working on a changing approach to reliability centred maintenance in a highly automated manufacturing facility. Youll be responsible forcompleting planned and preventative maintenance, working across a range of equipment from bulk ingredient handling systems, through processing to packaging and site services. You will be familiar with and understand the importance of our SAP based maintenancesystem. Youll work closely with the PPM Co-ordinator to plan maintenance during shutdowns ensuring relevant parts are available, work is allocated correctly and have a clear understanding of timescales to complete the required maintenance. Youll be experiencedwith the following: Safety - Accountable for own and teams adherence to relevant safety standard across all activities (including external contractors) People leadership of a team of days-based Engineers with responsibility for the teams training plan, individualdevelopment plans and performance reviews Resource Management Accountable for allocation, delivery and quality of all tasks undertaken by the Days shift that supports plant reliability, product quality and safety in line with Engineering Strategy & companystandards. Communication accountable for effective handover between days and shift-based Engineering teams Contractor Management Management of contractor activity Compliance with quality and food safety legislation, company standards and specifications inorder to meet the requirements of professional and legal standards.
