Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team in the public sectorIf so, I have the perfect role for you!I am currently recruiting for an Administrator to work with the Children & Young People’s Directorate based in Normanton (WF6).You will be responsible for providing high quality business and administration support to managers and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the services they provide.As an Administrator, you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for the team, handling enquiries and requests from colleagues, partners and the public with professionalism and efficiency
  • Assist the team with various financial tasks, such as ordering goods and services, processing invoices and managing petty cash
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings and conferences, including booking rooms, preparing agendas and documents, attending meetings and taking minutes
  • Provide accurate and timely reports as required by the service
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Experience of using IT systems relevant to the role, such as Microsoft Office
  • Relevant experience of working in a similar function
  • Experience of taking minutes
  • Experience of communicating confidently with staff at different levels, partners and the public
This role is full time, 37 hours per week, 8.30am- 5pm Monday-Friday.The pay rate is £11.18- £13 per hour depending on your experience.Please apply today for a chance of an immediate interview!What Reed can offer you as a temporary employee:
