Job Description

Commercial ManagerLocation: NormantonSalary: Up to £55kContract: Full time, permanentWe slice and pack cooked meat for Asda and have an annual turnover of £300m with 1,200 people employed at our Normanton site!You will receive 10% off at ASDA in all ASDA shops and a 4% pension contribution!We are dynamic, driven and totally focussed on satisfying our customers from start to finish; from innovative product development right through to consumer feedback and we are always looking for like-minded individuals!We are now recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join us and take leadership of the sales and supply management for Forza.In addition to this, as our Commercial Manager you will be responsible for:

Managing the Retail supply team

Working with Category, NPD, Finance and Production, to develop, launch and manage the product range

Reporting to the Commercial Director

Managing the supply chain from Factory to Store

Ensuring that products are launched correctly, on time and maintained on a weekly basis

Daily sales analysis with promotional recommendations

Maintain a running forecast, monitoring orders, availability and wasted

Running daily reports and analysis

Identifying and rectifying any problems that occur

Developing pricing and case size strategies for growth

Managing the delist of sku’s no longer required

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

Previous experience working with the processes of demand planning, forecasting and waste tracking Excellent

A proven track record of creating and analysing reports daily

Previous management experience withing a retail or retail supplier environment

Excellent organisational skills and be commercially literate

The ability to make commercial decisions, being aware of implications and consequences

The ability to be resilient enough to thrive in a fast moving, commercially exciting but challenging environment
