Job Description

The Vapouriz Group has been established since 2011 and is recognised as one of the leading manufacturers & retailers of premium electronic cigarettes, E Liquid and CBD in Europe, producing numerous flavours of e-liquids and CBD across numerous brands, all of which we manufacture in our UK plant using state-of-the-art machinery.Our vision at Vapouriz is to be the world’s most trusted vaping brands. We are excited to continue our growth and looking for a logical and commercially minded individual to work within our Procurement & Supply Chain team. Youll be responsible for ensuring stock availability of our key products and that our SAP system reflects stock levels. You will also be managing stock of our third party products, produce forecasts and present reports and spreadsheets to the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain and the Vapouriz Board of Directors. You should ideally have experience of working within the Retail or FMCG industries, be an intermediate user of Microsoft Excel and have relevant Mathematical qualifications. This role will be temporarily home/remotely based.Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide data and reporting to support business decisions including ownership of the weekly availability reporting document to ensure all key stakeholders are updated on stock availability by line and by product category
  • Management of weekly purchase ordering process via use of the demand planner tool, ensuring order levels are in line with stock target levels
  • Analyse sales performances to conduct range reviews with commercial teams and create action plans accordingly
  • Follow up with suppliers on outstanding PO’s and clear down partial receipts on a weekly basis
  • Support finance with invoice and payment issues when required
  • Responsible for developing reports on KPIs to measure stock levels, availability, SKU counts, discontinued / write off values and shelf life of stock
  • Develop range review reporting tools and processes to identify slow selling stock and action exit plan procedures to clear
  • Update and maintain product data in SAP such as maintaining Status codes etc
  • Liaise with commercial teams to develop and maintain professional working relationships and offer support to ensure sales are maximised through all channels and in line with the overall company strategy
  • Assist the Junior Buyer with issues/problems that arise with buying or receipting goods
  • Provide third party suppliers with reporting and analysis if requested/agreed
  • Interact with suppliers and the warehouse on returns and stock purchasing related issues such as the resolution of quarantines
  • Support with developing warehouse efficiencies and new processes to further improve the supply chain processes and procedures
  • The ideal candidate should also demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
  • Previous stock control experience within the Retail or FMCG industries
  • CIPS qualification would be desired but is not essential
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and V lookups
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good Business acumen
  • A good problem solver, with a positive can-do attitude
  • Able to work cross functionally
  • Good organisation and presentation skills
  • A good communicator to various stakeholders at all levels
