Job Description

The Vapouriz Group has been established since 2011 and is recognised as one of the leading manufacturers & retailers of premium electronic cigarettes, E Liquid and CBD in Europe, producing numerous flavours of e-liquids and CBD across numerous brands, all of which we manufacture in our UK plant using state-of-the-art machinery.Our vision at Vapouriz is to be the world’s most trusted vaping brands. We are excited to continue our growth and we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded individual to lead our eCommerce function to develop, drive and deliver the Vapouriz Group eCommerce strategy.This role is integral to our Senior Leadership Team and as such will be responsible for commercially driving online marketing and sales via our B2C platforms including vapestore.co.uk & vapouriz.co.uk. Driving increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth within this division is key, by analysing, reviewing, recommending and building strategic and tactical changes. Working collaboratively with other stakeholders and colleagues across the businesses to include, but not limited to Flavour Warehouse, who are based in Blackburn, Lancashire.Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Overall responsibility for ensuring that the E-commerce channel division exceeds all sales & profit targets
  • Develop and execute a commercial strategy for the E-Commerce channel to ensure revenue growth through increased customer acquisition, conversion and AOV
  • Analyse, review, recommend and build strategic and tactical changes to drive business profitability across this channel
  • Oversee design, performance and continuous improvement of all digital platforms
  • To liaise with the Head of Marketing, Brands and PR ahead of any marketing activity regarding Vapouriz own brands and agree action accordingly
  • Demonstrate strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • To ensure effective implementation of all initiatives in the E-Commerce Channels, both on and offline
  • To manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns
  • Build and direct a cohesive team of internal and external personnel to effectively develop Ecommerce solutions
  • Manage the annual marketing budget with regular review and reporting on ROI
  • Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability
  • Develop and oversee the planning, QA and execution of content across the website and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency and accuracy of all web content publishing
  • Lead the customer service department by accessing and managing the customer service team to continually improve processes and outcomes
  • Champion the customer throughout the business, balancing the customer needs with business requirements and presenting compelling a case for internal change and improvement
  • Measure and report by agreeing priorities, processes and standards and line manage the CS team to deliver them
  • The ideal candidate should also demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
  • Extensive experience of working in overall digital marketing mix, email, SEO and content
  • Experience of working in a senior commercial role operating in a multi-channel environment specifically eCommerce
  • Demonstrate and provide evidence of senior leadership of a significant commercial function, including business growth and change management programmes
  • Proven track record of sales and profit growth
  • Degree qualified in a relevant Marketing or Business discipline
  • Experience of using SAP Business One
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Photoshop
  • Able to use data to influence, challenge and enable change
  • A strategic thinker with a commercial results driven bias revenue
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making skills
  • An experienced project planning and management skills
  • Able to engage with staff at all levels and competent at managing cross functional teams
  • A self-starter with excellent organisation and presentation skills
  • Confident line manager
