Job Description

The ClientOur client is a specialist engineering company due to growth they are looking for a Workshop Engineer who has ideally worked on heat exchange equipment.The Role

  • Will be working on service and repair heat exchange equipment.
  • Will mainly be workshop based but may involve visiting customers.
  • You will be expected to actively promote service and products.
  • Working to the highest levels of health and safety practice.
    • The Person
  • You will ideally be time served with a mechanical background
  • Must have a working knowledge and experience of a wide range of heat exchangers and coolers, inclusive of shell and tube, air blast, calorifiers, copper and aluminium fin coils.
  • You will have ability to braze using silver solder and will have a clear understanding of pressure testing in this environment.
  • MIG and TIG welding skills will be advantageous.
  • Experience in re-tubing tube bundles and tube expansion and/or knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems will be beneficial.
  • You be capable of interpreting engineering drawings and specifications and will understand the need to work to exacting tolerances.
