Technical SEO SpecialistNewcastle£35K - £40KPage 1 recruitment are excited to be working in partnership with a leading Creative and Digital Marketing Agency in the Northeast. The last 12 months have been truly exceptional for our client which has put them in a position where they are looking to growtheir Digital Marketing team. Some of their clients include some top high street brands, blue chip companies as well as sector leading niche specialist industries. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to join one of the most exciting Digital MarketingAgencies to come out of Newcastle.As the Technical SEO expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and implementing SEO strategies for various clients
  • Providing in-depth technical SEO audits
  • Working as the leading advocate in the business on how SEO can drive marketing performance for new/existing clients
  • Working closely with the Business Development team/Account Managers on client pitches as well as prospecting for new business
  • Working closely with the wider Digital Marketing, Web and Software Development teams
  • Carrying out competitor analysis, link building, backlink audits, keyword research, and other research projects as and when required
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with deadlines and client requirements
  • Taking ownership of clients digital performance and technical integrity
  • Keeping up to date with SEO best practice and sharing knowledge across the team where applicable
The ideal candidate will:
  • Be an expert in Technical SEO
  • Be methodical and detail-oriented
  • Be a strategic thinker
  • Have a strong understanding of SEO
  • Have experience managing large and complex SEO accounts
  • Have strong digital marketing skills
  • Have great analytical and organisational skills
Experience working with tools such as:Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Search MetricsBonus points for experience with:
  • Knowledge of different aspects of online marketing including PPC, Paid Social, Display and Video marketing
  • Experience working in either an agency or client-side SEO role
  • Working knowledge/ experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
