First Response ManagerOur client is a well-respected Law Firm with offices in Newcastle, and they are seeking a committed Manager to join their First Response Team.BackgroundThe team is the first point of contact for all new claimants to the firm. The ideal candidate will have previous managerial experience within a customer service environment. The role will suit someone ambitious and willing to embrace new challenges.Role & Responsibilities* Responsible for the daily supervision and monitoring of the First Response Team* Oversee all new referrals, including the administration and liaising directly with introducers as directed by the partners* To collate and produce reports to manage the standards and team performance.* Supporting and training new employees within the department* Setting targets and working with the department to meet targets consistently.* Interacting with customers daily by answering their questions and directing them to the appropriate department* Liaise with the IT department regarding workflows on the new claim setupCandidate Requirements* At least 1-year experience managing a customer service team* Strong report-writing skills, together with familiarity with MS Office software.* Self-motivation to use own initiative when required.* Awareness of the importance of your and your teams performance on the success of the firm.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenCandidate Attributes* Team player with a positive, enthusiastic, conscientious, and pro-active approach* Ability to cope with conflicting demands and meet targets.* * Ability to demonstrate behaviour in keeping with the firms core valuesA competitive salary will be offered.HoursMonday to Friday 9am until 5pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) with the occasional 11am - 7pm shift when the need arises.Benefits* 23 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays per annum.
