Job Description

Berry Recruitment Darlington are working alongside a new Client in Newcastle. This Company is a rapidly growing supply of equipment for hire throughout the UK, and with 25 locations across the country, they are looking for a Business Development Managerto join them, and expand their horizons in the North East.Working within the Account Management team and reporting to the Sales Director, we are looking for the right Candidate to support the Account Manager in the region. As their Business Development Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to;

  • Creating strategies to successfully identify new business opportunities and potential leads
  • Making sales calls to introduce the company and the services we offer and to build client relationships
  • Support these new customers by understanding their needs, and develop proposals to assist them and their business requirements
  • Driving the business forward by achieving sales / growth targets
  • Promoting the full range of our services including hire, sales and training
If you are self-motivated and have a need to achieve, we would like to speak to you. A tool or plant hire background is not required as full training and support will be given, however essential attributes include a passion for sales, ability to build aprofessional repertoire both in person and over phone/email. Candidates must be able to work under pressure and have a high level of organisation skills. You must be able to work under pressure and have the ability to adapt.Candidates applying for this role must have a full UK driving licence and you will be equipped with a company car and fuel card. This Client is offering a competitive salary for the position or £25-28K per annum, with bonus incentives in May and Novemberfor Company performance.This role is a full time, permanent position with an immediate start, Monday to Friday 8-5pm.
