Job Description

Governance AdministratorNewcastle City Centre20-25 hours a week (Ideally 3 full days)£10.42-£10.83ph DOEWe have fantastic opportunity to join one of our clients who are a well-known electricity distribution company with offices in Newcastle City Centre.They are currently looking for an experienced Administration to join their Operations Department. This is a temporary role until the end of December 2023 with the possibility of an extension.We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is able to use their own initiative, take ownership of their workload and work to deadlines.Proficient IT skills are essential as you will be required to work between a number of different IT systems. This position would suit a candidate who enjoys variety within the workplace and who and can adapt their working style.Responsibilities include;

  • Day to day office administration
  • Data input
  • Co-ordinating and booking meetings, within required timeframes.
  • To prepare and send out invitations to these meetings to all relevant parties.
  • To book all rooms and hospitality for the meetings.
  • To request and collate all reports for these meetings and distributing to attendees beforehand.
  • Answer phones and pass on messages/calls accordingly
  • To minute the meetings and type up notes .
  • File all documentation ensuring accurate and up to date records.
  • Assist in maintaining a high standard in office practice/procedures including filing systems and electronic notes.
  • Co-ordination of meetings ensuring they are booked within required timeframes.
  • Gathering of information for meetings
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with a range of individuals including staff, shareholders and customers
