Job Description

Focused Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control and RMA Assistant to join our clients manufacturing site in the Blackwood areaOverview:To inspect assembled products prior to release as per NPI and customer specific requirements. Assume responsibility for the effectiveness of the customer returns and paid work processes (RMA) in line with customer and company requirements.Duties: Inspect NPI first off unit prior to release in line with IPC-A-610 standards and/or customer specific requirements. Generate certificates of conformity for specific customer requirements. RMA Generation - Within 24 hours of request Customer return process control - 10 day turnaround time target Monitor and report CRN metrics Paid work process control - In line with customer PO requirements Rework product as and when required. Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care. Conduct online product audits in line with IPC-A-610 standards and/or customer specific requirements. Assist with purchased material verification Daily WIP inspection reports (Production, Process, Quality).Desirable Skills and Experience: IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 Experience Experience in manufacture of PCB assemblies Working in teams, good Communication skills Previous experience in reworking of SMT and PTH Conduction/convection methods. Knowledge, understanding and ability to apply J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 (All classification requirements).
