Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a meticulous and driven Store Implementation Project Manager to join a leading retailer in the Projects and Implementation department. This role is ideally suited for someone who is passionate about retail operationsand possesses excellent project management skills.Client DetailsThis organisation is a prominent player in the Retail industry with a sizeable workforce. Renowned for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they are headquartered in the outskirts of Edinburgh and maintain a strong presence nationwide.Description

  • Overseeing the implementation of new store systems and processes.
  • Managing the project timelines and ensuring milestones are met.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Regularly reporting project progress to senior management.
  • Training store staff on new systems and processes.
  • Continually improving store systems for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a keen knowledge of retail industry trends and advancements.
ProfileA successful Store Implementation Project Manager should have:
  • A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years experience in project management ideally in the food retail sector but experience in other sectors would be considered.
  • A professional qualification (MRICS/MAPM) would be desirable, but this is not essential.
  • Appropriate knowledge of health and safety legislation, a Health and Safety qualification would be desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines within a live environment.
  • Refrigeration and mechanical projects experience an advantage.
  • Exceptional organisational and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
