ECOMMERCE MANAGERMONDAY - FRIDAY: 09.00 - 18.00£45,000 to £50,000 PER ANNUM DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCEPeople Solutions are delighted to present a newly created opportunity for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join our exciting FMCG retail client based in Newbridge, Edinburgh.Our client prides themselves being the number one retailer in their product range and boasts a huge retail presence of over 165 retail stores across the UK.In addition to this, they have an amazing online presence which they are looking to enhance by appointing an Ecommerce Manager.The purpose of this role is to lead the Ecommerce side of the business, using your skills of analysis to identify every obstacle and opportunity, and to enhance customer experience whilst maximising every chance to convert sales through the online platform.BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect the following benefits:

Day to Day Duties

Managing all online sales, reviewing conversions, and conducting A/B testing to assure maximum performance of the Ecommerce site.
Develop the digital platform to ensure a flawless customer journey
Overseeing and implementing the online merchandising strategy
Take the lead in promotional campaigns and new product launches
Work with developers to create the best online visual merchandising possible
Create the website content calendar, collaborate with the product and marketing teams to create briefs, and deliver objectives
Provide analysis and insights on weekly/monthly product sales, identifying best sellers and areas of improvement
Make recommendations for enhancements based on trends and analytics

Essential Skills

Proven experience in Ecommerce, preferably gained within FMCG or clothing/apparel
A bachelor’s degree in marketing or business management
An excellent understanding of Ecommerce frameworks
Ability to analyse data in detail and to demonstrate decision making processes based on outcomes.
Proficiency in relevant tools: Search Console, Ahrefs (or similar) and Google Analytics (UA and GA4)
Deep understanding of attribution modelling, website speed optimisation, A/B testing, conversion management and UX and sales journey optimisation
Excellent communication and organisational skills
