Job Description

Location: NewbridgeJob role: Operations Debrief Supervisor ( Late shift)Job Type: Full-time, permanentHours: 40 hours per weekShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 12noon - 20.00hrsSalary: £25.000 + Benefits£500 bonus paid - after completion of a successful 12 weeks employment!DEBRIEF SUPERVISORMenzies Distribution are looking for aDebrief Coordinator to join our express parcels team. Youll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. Providing a first-class service with our team in Newbridge, this role is based ona basic 40-hour week working Monday to Friday.DEBRIEF SUPERVISOR DUTIES

  • Answering telephone calls, assisting customers with enquiries, and adhering to depot KPIs
  • Assisting drivers with locating addresses and providing delivery instructions
  • Assisting customers and providing excellent customer service
  • De-brief of drivers ensuring processes are followed correctly
  • Ensuring contractor paperwork is completed
  • Basic administrative duties
  • To implement the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment at all times
  • To implement the Security Policy ensuring and maintaining a secure passage of goods for the customer
  • Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Management or the Shift Manager
REQUIREMENTS
  1. An understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations
  2. Experience of working in a transport/logistics environment
  3. Able to react quickly to information, helping solve any challenges to routes
  4. Experience using in-house transport management systems is an advantage
