Job Description

Housing Support Worker Required Location: Mountsorrel, LeicestershireLength: PermanentHours: 37 hours per weekPay: £21,026 per annumVenn Group are currently recruiting for experienced Housing Support Worker. You will be passionate about helping customers and having experience supporting people in their home to maintain their tenancy.Responsibilities of the role:

  • Help customers maximising their income through benefit applications / accessing grants/funds
  • Access local community groups
  • Set up utilities
  • Support service users with sustaining tenancies
  • Provide practical and emotional support to adults
  • Assess referrals for both community and refuge based services
  • Conduct safety and Support Planning
  • Support the delivery of group work both in refuge and local community
  • Travel throughout service delivery area to deliver support and attendance at multi-agency meetings

Essential experience/requirements:
  • Previous experience in a related role
  • A full UK drivers license and access to a vehicle
