Job Description

Job descriptionThe ideal candidate for this position as a client manager would suit a fully qualified accountant or a part qualified sitting their finals, with a minimum of 3 years of practice experience. This diverse role involves looking after and beingthe first point of contact for clients within your varied portfolio. Responsibilities include being the day-to-day contact for client queries, reviewing accounts prior to partner meeting, preparing meeting packs along with calculating company and personaltax liabilities. Audit experience would be ideal, although not compulsory. There will also be opportunities to do specialist work for your clients including forecasting, business valuations, EMI schemes and other work as and when required.Responsibilities

  • Reviewing accounts following preparation to draft stage and calculate tax liabilities
  • liaising with clients to ensure accounts finalised for partner meeting
  • Ensuring all stat deadlines are met within your portfolio
  • Preparation of self-assessment returns for directors / shareholders within your portfolio
  • Being first point of contact for clients
  • Responsibility for own billing and time management
  • Audit work including statutory audits, Solicitors Accounts Rules, and grant audits
  • Opportunities to develop own portfolio further to be the lead advisor
  • Opportunities to do specialist work such as forecasting, business valuations, EMI schemes, business sale and acquisition, due diligence, EIS/SEIS.
Essential Qualifications
  • ACCA or ICAEW qualified or finalist
