Job Description

PERMANENT ROLE - Monday to Friday - 48 hours Guaranteed - Relief Mixer Driver - Up to £34,047.50paWe are looking for Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers to join our ready-mix mixer fleet, delivering to construction sites throughout the UK-What our drivers get:

£11.25ph - For Class 1 drivers

£10.23ph - For Class 2 drivers

£25.00 - Per night out

£960pa - Relief Allowance

Up to £1,600pa - Incentive Scheme

Contracted to a minimum 48 hours per week with opportunities to work up to 55 hours per week

Company van and fuel card are provided

Some Saturday working will be required - minimum of 8 hours paid regardless of hours worked

Fully paid training course for MPQC qualification card

Vehicle - Class 2- 8 legger with an 8 metre British McPhee drum

Basic salary - £26,494pa - £29,040pa - Based 48 hours worked and the relief allowancePotential Salary - £34,047.50pa - Based on a Class 1 driver working 50 hours per week, 2 nights out per week, achieving full Incentive SchemePotential Salary - £31,405.70pa - Based on a Class 2 driver working 50 hours per week, 2 nights out per week, achieving full Incentive SchemeWhat we expect from our drivers:

To be able to night out up to 4 times per week

Support depots when other drivers are sick or on holiday or due to high work demands

Take pride in your vehicle and ensure it is cleaned through the working day and after each delivery.

Complete the daily end of work cleaning procedure on the inside of the mixer drum

Operate your vehicle efficiently and have a good geographical knowledge of the area

Be punctual, have good communication skills with our clients and complete relevant paperwork

Be willing to learn new skills and attend all company training programmes

Wear driver uniform and PPE to be worn

Be an ambassador for the company and Wincanton brand

Experience & Qualifications:

You must hold a Class 1 or 2 licence

Current DCPC & Digital Tachograph card

Must have a minimum of 1 years HGV driving experience

Must have no more than 6 points on licence

Must have recent experience within the construction industry i.e building sites or quarries

Must be able to demonstrate the operation of a rigid vehicle around tight spaces

Must be able to work Saturdays and be flexible within your working time

Readymix Experience preferable
