Job Description

Product photography company looking for a photography assistant to aid the head photographer. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to prepare, setup, and help execute photoshoots in the studio. You may also be required to photograph jobs, edit photos, work on location shoots (travel provided), interact with customers etc.To ensure success as a photographer assistant, you should have a passion for photography, knowledge of lighting and editing techniques.Photographer Assistant Responsibilities:

Setting up the studio for each shoot.

Organizing, unpacking, and setting up camera and lighting equipment.

Interacting with customers and assisting with positioning during shoots.

Taking instructions from the principal Photographer.

Assisting with lighting and camera work.

Returns and deliveries of clients products.

Organising the studio.

Image editing.

Photographer Assistant Requirements:

Diploma in photography or similar qualification.

Previous experience working as a photographer assistant may be required.

Naturally creative with a good eye for color and style.

Familiarity with professional cameras and lighting equipment.

Knowledge of modern photography techniques.

Good listening and communication skills.

Proficient with photo editing software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign. If you have graphic design skills even better.

Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

Flexible with hours

6 month probationary period. Required skills
