Job Description

Are you looking to make a difference in Childrens lives Here is an opportunity for you to work as Qualified Social Worker inChildren Assessmentteams where you can work with children.The rate of pay would be up to£42per hour and the opportunity is based inCambridgeshire.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • You’ll work as a member of an experienced team to deliver effective services that promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at various stages of their journey. We have roles available in our Children’s Assessment team.
  • You will need to have post qualifying experience in Duty and Assessment within a statutory safeguarding setting. You will have knowledge and experience of Safeguarding and of legislation, regulations and guidance relating to Children’s social care togetherwith an ability to assess and manage risk.
  • As a social worker on the duty and assessment team, you will contribute to the team duty service on a five- week rolling duty system.
  • You will need to effectively manage a caseload; with varying degrees of complexity dependent upon skills and length of experience and we will provide regular supervision, guidance and support.

  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Having experience of minimum 2 years in children fostering services.
  • Able to drive car and hold a UK Driving License.
