Due to their success and ongoing growth they have an opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer to join their talented team.The role:Review customer specifications with the Commercial and Engineering team to verify all requirements can be metLead on product quality - inspection, audits and develop QMS processesEnsuring adherence and compliance to all applicable standards (EU, IEC, ISO etc)Ensuring all test and quality related equipment is correctly maintained, calibrated and operated to the highest safety standardsIdentifying and implementing improvements which enhance the product qualityWork with the Project Manager to resolve any technical issuesApplicants must be able to demonstrate:Experience of working in a Technical Support roleAbility to work as part of a small busy teamSelf-motivated, conscientious, enthusiastic and adaptable approachWork with other business functions independently and as part of a project team to support the development of key knowledge areasEssentialHNC/HND in Electrical EngineeringThree years experience working within a technical role: LV panels and SwitchboardsCircuit Protection product knowledge inc PLC programmingKnowledge and experience in Low-voltage short-circuit testingExperience of reading/understanding schematic drawingsISO9001 knowledgeRelevant training in Health and Safety awarenessAble to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and fast paced environmentThe role offers a competitive salary and bonus scheme together with opportunities for progression and dveelopment in a professional and supportive working environment.
