Job Description

Sales Executive Cheshireup to £35k (negotiable) plus company car and commissionThis is an amazing opportunity to join a well-established family business based in the heart of Cheshire, as their brand new B2B Sales Executive. With an impressive list of loyal clients including well know national retailers, the future of the businessis very positive and there is real opportunity for career progression for the right person.The business is a leading company in their niche consumable products field and has been stocking and supplying their products to clients across the UK for over fifteen years. They pride themselves on their product sustainability, with every single productbeing 100% natural, eco-friendly, and bio-degradable!THE ROLEAs the new Sales Executive, you will be joining a small, long-standing Sales Team based in Middlewich, Cheshire. The primary focus of this brand new role is to win new business across the UK, as well as winning back lost and declining clients to grow theaccount base and maximise on revenue. You will spend around three days per week on average on the road, travelling across the whole of the UK.Some of the key responsibilities of the new Sales Executive include:

  • Cold calling, and approaching new customers to win new business
  • Building and maintaining business relationships and Account Management via telephone, email and face to face
  • Market and product research
  • Product demos and presentations
  • Self-generating leads and prospecting
  • Responding to incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Negotiating on terms, and closing sales
  • Attendance of trade shows, exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Contributing to the business plans for future product development based on customer demand
  • Sales reporting on a monthly basis
  • Managing your own pipeline working towards agreed targets
  • Making cost calculations and providing quotes to customers
  • Upselling and increasing sales across the range of products by identifying untapped opportunities
ABOUT YOUYou will have experience in sales, ideally out in the field, and you will be happy to travel frequently, with overnight stays where needed. The new Sales Executive is required to have/be:
  • A natural hunter, who thrives on winning new business and prospecting
  • Experienced in a similar sales role, ideally out in the field
  • Account management and relationship building experience
  • An understanding of a sales pipeline
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapports
  • A brilliant negotiator and closer of deals
  • Organised, and able to manage your own time and schedule
  • Career driven, with the desire to progress
  • Accustomed to working towards and hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Able to plan and forecast
