Experienced Production EngineerOur client is a leading business in an agile textiles environment. They have a current vacancy for a Production Engineer to join their business.Key duties will include: To work on existing and new product implementation into production Identifying efficient cost-effective routes to manufacture defining methods and machinery required Capture current and amended manufacturing processes using suitable media Review existing Product Master Files and BOMS and identify/ correct errors as required Assist and play a key role in the redesign of the manufacturing layout Lead process improvements Design tooling / jigs for continuous improvements and new product implementation Candidate skills: Experienced Production Engineer ideally from an agile textiles manufacturing (desirable) Ability to design and implement manufacturing layouts and processes Computer literate - Microsoft and AutoCAD Understanding of design and production costs including waste, downtime scrap and rework Experience of 5 S Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
