Employer description:Amita are an award-winning IT Service provider with a team of highly trained and experienced technical staff who are dedicated to providing you with fast, flexible, friendly and first-class support at all times.Overview:QA Ltd are partnered with an IT Support company situated in Middlewich, Cheshire.Together we are searching for a Technology minded individual with an IT hobbyist / strong communication skillset.We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Cloud Network Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship.The role is fantastically paid alongside the valuable support offered via Apprenticeship and senior members to of the Amita team to evolve the successful candidate.Main responsibilities:

  • Working with and supporting the team.
  • Provide 1st line helpdesk support to customers.
  • To accurately diagnose software and hardware faults and to be able to resolve a largeproportion of client problems via remote networking and client site visits.
  • Provide a high standard of customer care to clients, ensuring their problems are dealt withefficiently, maintaining contact and keeping clients informed of progress.
  • To be aware of and abide by the companys health and safety procedures and associated polices.
  • In addition, you may be called upon to do other duties as demand occurs.

Entry requirements:The entry requirements for this Cloud Network Specialist programme are as follows:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.Find out more here: https://Qualifications/UKQRS/Default.aspxWorking week:5 days a week, 9am5pm.[1-hour lunch each day]Total of 35 hours a week.Salary: £14,000 per annum. [with the opportunity to increase upto £18,000 through progress reviews]-- Will be discussed upon interview.Important Information:QAs apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
