Job Description

Accountancy Recruit is partnering a Cheshire based Charity to recruit a Head of Finance, the role would suit a Financial Controller or Finance Manager. This is an exciting role to join a newly created leadership team to help drive the growth of the Charity.The Head of Finance will have the following responsibilities:

  • Partner the rest of the Senior Leadership Team to drive efficiencies.
  • Oversee the production of management accounts, translate & relate financial information.
  • Develop annual, medium & long term plans across all business units.
  • Mentor and empower the finance team.
  • Business parter other with cross functional colleagues helping them understand financial information.
To be successful in this role the Head of Finance will have the following experience:
  • Proven track record in a financial management position.
  • Excellent accounting experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to manage a high volume, pressurised workload.
  • Ability to prioritise and handle complex situations and tight deadlines.
The salary advertised for this role is a guideline, the salary offered will be commensurate with experience.
