Job Description

Trinity House Group are working very closely with a high growth, PE backed leader in business to consumer services, who have created a brand-new Tax Accounting position, reporting directly into the Finance Director. This is a pivotal role required to manageVAT, corporate and overseas taxes as well as the key Treasury aspects. This individual will lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area to deliver quality tax services as well as provide the most accurate and up to date view of the cashflow.Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe.
  • Building relationships and interacting with stakeholders to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise.
  • Providing innovative tax planning and reviewing complex income tax returns.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks.
  • Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
  • Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits.
  • Maintain tax balances on general ledger.
  • Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests.
  • Co-ordinate Treasury activities through discussions with relevant teams and ensuring accurate forecasting in order to manage cash in the most efficient way.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified ACCA / CAT / AIIT - or substantial Tax experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Highly analytical
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
Salary and Benefits:
  • £55,000 - £65,000
  • Bonus
  • Hybrid / Remote (1 day in office per week)
  • 30 days holiday + Bank Holidays
