Job Description

Sub Agents required on major Highways scheme in South Wales. Our client is the Tier 1 contractor on a £500million project, consisting of 18kms of new highway including multiple RC structures, retaining walls and culverts. Our client requires Sub Agents withboth major highways and structures experience on a permanent basis. Our client is also willing to consider candidates who do not live within commuting distance and will provide an accommodation allowance to these employees.As Sub Agent you will:

Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Ensure that QA documentation is produced in accordance with industry and our clients specifications
Liaise with Site Engineers and Section Engineers, resolving any technical queries
Monitor resource levels to ensure that progress can be maintained in accordance with the project programme.
Plan working methods and relate details to the site team.
Ensure that progress records, including daily sheets, are maintained and distributed.
To identify high-risk activities and ensure that the proper control measures are in place to mitigate their effects on site personnel and members of the public

Our client requires a Sub Agent with:

HNC/Degree or in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Experience of working in a similar position for a Civils contractor
Previous experience of working on major Highways/Structures project
SMSTS, CSCS card.

Salary/Benefits:

Up to £47,500 per annum
£6,500 car allowance
33 days holiday (includes bank holidays)
6% company pension scheme
£7,200 accommodation allowance for anyone living over 1.5hrs commute from the project
