Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for someone to looking to pursue a career in Health & Safety in the Construction sector. Abatec is assisting a global company with the recruitment of a Health & Safety Assistant, to be based on a project in Merthyr Tydfil for thenext 4 years. No particular educational qualifications are required but a willingness to learn and progress is a must. CSCS card is essential.As Health & Safety Assistant you will:

Provide support to H&S advisors, who promote health, safety and welfare across the project.
Help to ensure that statutory legislation and contractual safety requirements are complied with.
Assist with site inspections and monitoring site health, safety and welfare.
Assist with health and safety audits.
Be willing to undertake other duties as instructed.

Our client requires a Health & Safety Assistant with:

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
A desire to pursue a career in Health & Safety
CSCS card

Salary/Benefits:

Up to £23,000 per annum
