Because we believe that only by working togetherin an inclusive environment, where everyone can grow and thrive, we can build the world we all want to live in.Join today and build progress with us.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding Surfacing Solutions Division to help deliver on long term frameworks including multi million pound highways projects across the Southeast of England.As the Quantity Surveyor you will help to develop, lead and implement commercial targets for the Surfacing Solutions division in the pursuit of value, cost and cash management.

  • You will ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental objectives for each project
  • Preparing forecasts, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
  • On-site measurement and measurement of drawings as required
  • Identifying potential risks and evaluate options for control
  • On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
  • Prepare and deliver profit and loss statements at the month end
  • Sub contract management and preparation of payments
Who you are
  • Experience working within Highways, Civil or Surfacing sector working with the NEC form of contract.
  • Be a strong collaborative team player.
  • Able to interact with clients and negotiate to the benefit of all parties
  • Tenacious in approach, with ability to plan and organise and operate to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships, with a strong Customer focus.
  • Strong IT Skills.
