Job Description

Curtis Packaging is a print and packaging company based in Redhill, Surrey. We design, manufacture and supply luxury cartons with a strong environmental ethos.We are now looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Customer Services department.The role of a Project Coordinator will be responsible for dealing directly with clients, and our internal sales and production departments.Summary of expectations of role:Responsible for assisting in the running of the Customer Service Team (CST) to ensure a high level of service and timely delivery of orders. Liaise between sales, productions and the customer ensuring the communication between all is exact and simple to understand.Project Co-Ordinator Roles & Responsibilities

  • The management of fast moving projects (i.e. re - orders, standalone new product development) from PO placement to delivery liaising with customer, sales & production.
  • To book orders into our system, ensuring all relevant information has been captured to create the WIT and job bag.
  • Provide all departments with the comprehensive information required for the project in a timely fashion.
  • Responsibility to be taken on booking to ensure the required delivery date fits into the current schedule, if requirements are outside of this project team member to liaise with production, sales and customer to ensure an acceptable date is provided.
  • Management of artwork from the customer, to our repro studio for proofing and proof approvals with the customer.
  • Where necessary obtain an up to date estimate from the estimating team for any project.
  • Ensure any customer complaints or any delivery / quality issues are dealt with using the correct internal channels whilst offering customer support.
  • Provide a key avenue of communication between customer and production.
  • One project team member to represent at the production meetings and feedback to the team actions that are required.
  • Build relationships with customers where necessary to provide an internal customer contact base.
  • Manage the storage of finished jobs bags (including bag & tagging)
  • Answer the main line calls wherever required.
  • Be on hand for any customer that visits whenever required.

  • A sound commercial understanding.
  • A creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and self-driven.
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
  • Proven success, knowledge and at least three years of successful experience in an Account Executive role.
  • A history of building relationships with clients and customers.
  • Experience working in Print Management or Commercial Print would be beneficial.
